The PS3 will come standard with a functional Linux Operating System as well as compilers and other tools to take advantage of homebrew software and prospective upstart developers. Of course, this also means the PS3 will be compatible with just about every USB device on the planet!

A judge has denied a Warner Bros. motion to dismiss 20th Century Fox’s lawsuit over the right to make a film based on the graphic novel “Watchmen.” Ruling is potentially a huge victory for Fox, which could wind up being a profit participant in the film, costing Warners millions considering the film’s box office prospects.

Conservatives have been trying to frighten investors about the prospects of a Barack Obama presidency. Wall Street however, disagrees, and is donating more to Obama
?s campaign than to the campaign of Sen. John McCain (R-AZ). Bloomberg reports that Obama ?has captured $9.6 million in donations from employees working for securities, mortgage firms.

I don’t really see how there is any serious prospect for solving either our energy security problem or our climate problem if the traditional media doesn’t do any policing whatsoever of statements by major politicians. I understand the reasons that McCain would lie. But why does the media let a party candidates get away with such disinformation?
